These 3 timelines are on a log scale with the present in the middle. The Abrahamic religions (Islam, Christianity and Judaism) more or less agree that God is eternal and created the universe at a certain time. Buddhists and Hindus believe time to be cyclical. Most current science theories assume the universe has a beginning and an end.

Mmmm. not sure about the science bit being 'unknown' there are plenty of theories about pulsating universes (they keep cycling), multiverses, branching universes, bubble universes, all of which are equally as valid (at the very least) as the various religion's theories. Or maybe the religious versions should really have an 'unknown' label at various points.

  2. Well that's the difference netween religion and science. Science admits that it doesn't know things.
